This began with a painting of vine leaves that became more realistic as I saw them less as leaves and more as colors and shapes. After that, I started rearranging those colors and shapes.
It’s been over a year since then. One idea led to the next, and when it didn’t, my determination not to end on a prime number of paintings (so that they could fit into a grid) eked out another idea.
So that brought us here: 9 paintings of green shapes.
