Created something out of the norm for me in a year that was exactly that. Inspired by our seemingly distorted, warped, broken, inverted, muddled reality in 2020—and the beauty that still persists.

Back in late December 2019, I half-jokingly told a friend that maybe 2020 would lead to a “new me.” It was partly a joke because I don’t believe in personal growth on artificial deadlines, but there was truth in wanting to act more differently and actually be more different than usual.
As it turned out, that year was unexpectedly unusual, and naturally so was I. These are part of that story—uncharacteristic work with an uncharacteristic kind of anecdote for those unusual times.
